10 Tools

Hi
I've been watching YouTubes from the Essential Craftsman.  He has a lot of cool stuff.  One of the things that he did was list out 10 of his favorite tools.

Here is his website:

So I started thinking about my top ten tools.  I made a list but I didn't put it in order.

Some information:

1.  I'm not a blacksmith or a contractor.  Just DIY, shade tree mechanic guy.  My son and I use tools to work on things that need regular maintenance, are broken, or we want to build or make something.
2.  The Essential Craftsman guy doesn't like working on engines or mechanical stuff like that.  Some of what we do is mechanical repair like replacing brake rotors and pads on my wife's Altima or removing and maintaining the lower unit on a Yamaha 155 Saltwater Outboard Motor.
3.  I don't have a crew so I do a lot of things by myself.  Some of what I'm going to say here will emphasize ways to perform jobs by my self.

Here’s my son’s Mitsubishi Galant.  As you can see we have sometimes taken on larger projects.  This is the Mitsubishi Galant engine rebuild.  Besides getting some needed TLC, the Galant is also getting a new, lighter crankshaft.

Rebuild GoldWing 1500 forks.  Used the JawHorse quite a bit on this job.

Once I'm done with my top ten list I have a list of other stuff that I will write about also.
